Who will be at the Trad

the crooked billet

This popular local pub is at the Trad once again.  Renowned for its seriously good food, local beers and great atmosphere, owner Paul Clerehugh promises the full "Crooked Billet" experience on the river bank.

the covered

The Covered are a London-based function band specialising in exciting floor-filling pop/rock and soul music hits from the 1950s to modern day. We are excited to announce they will be playing once again at The Trad on Friday night!

Ben Waters

Legendary boogie-woogie-rock-n-roll pianist Ben Waters brings the Crooked Billet live music stage to an incredible finale on the Sunday evening, 21st July.

A formidable talent, Ben has been session boogie pianist of choice to the greats of the Rock and Roll years, from Shakin’ Stevens and Chuck Berry to The Kinks.

More recently with Rolling Stones legends Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods, Charlie Watts & Bill Wyman, Ben recorded his 2011 album ‘Boogie 4 Stu’.

He was pianist in Charlie Watts Rhythm & Boogie band, and with Charlie & Jools Holland performed together on Jools' TV show ‘Later’.

At the 2017 Henley Festival Ben starred with Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, and his secret London shows earlier this year with Ronnie Woods sold out before tickets went on sale!

Guaranteed to get feet tapping & revellers dancing, Ben Waters is the perfect finale to a weekend of messing about on the river.
