message from the TTBF committee

23rd March 2020

Dear Supporter,

We thought it timely to write and briefly share with you the current thinking of the Committee in the light of Coronavirus.

In essence, it is our hope that July is far enough into the future that the Thames Traditional Boat Festival can go ahead as planned.  Many tell us that the Trad is a true highlight of their summer.  Now, more than ever before, we feel motivated to deliver another memorable weekend that lifts spirits.  Let’s hope nothing prevents us from doing so.

While we work towards this singular aim in the background, you can be safe in the knowledge that if we are forced to cancel the event because of Coronavirus, we will offer a full refund.

We very much hope you’re all keeping well and look forward to seeing you in July, by which time everyone will have had ample time to get all those little jobs done on their boats.

Yours, with everything crossed !
